This is a lucrative career opportunity for the right candidate. The Sales Consultant position consists of selling Social Media Marketing, primarily Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc., by B2B cold calling and networking with existing contacts. You will be utilizing both face-to-face presentations and over the phone / online one-on-one webinars.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Drive, grow and manage sales objectives by generating new business
- Prospect new accounts with some cold calling
- Educate customers on the value & benefits of social media marketing
- Face-to-face contact with customers
- Build and maintain strong relationship with clients
- Submit complete and accurate account information/paperwork
- Meet or exceed revenue & sales goals
- Maintain and ensure open communication with Sales Manager
- General sales reporting
- Prospect new accounts with some cold calling

Skills
- Exceptional B2B sales background in advertising or media sales is a plus (i.e. Superpages, Yellow Pages)
- Strong cold call prospecting and appointment setting skills
- Business development skills
- Excellent computer and internet skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be a user of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other like accounts.
- A balance of sales skills from opening a sale, to closing and following up with account
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed
- Solid ability to close business!
